Normal And Loving It

Today was so awesomely normal. I did normal things.... I made Meg's lunch, I walked with Karen in the mountains. I dug in the dirt, trimmed a rose bush, raked leftover Fall leaves and gave several perinnials a good Spring cleaning. Then I went to a birthday luncheon for a dear friend where I could talk and eat and see many other good friends. I sat in the living room of another dear friend and we just talked and talked. It was great. Anxious to finish what I started earlier in the day, I changed into my "dig in the garden" clothes and raked and pulled and cut a little more. Did I mention I heard the birds chirping? After making dinner and a couple of loads of laundry, here I am. I've never loved "normal" more.
